Welcome to the official website of the Kirat Rai Society of America (KRS), a mutual organization of the entire Kirat Rai community who have come and settled in the United States from different nations of the world. Since its inception, KRSA has been trying to connect the Kirat Rai community living across the United States through various means and programs. This website is an integral part of that effort.
We have been undertaking various activities to establish KRSA, an organization for all Kirat Rai living in America. Through this website, we intend to bring those activities to light in the Kirat Rai community. The organization’s website should be an educational, exciting, and informative platform for all Kirat Rai, non-Kirat Rais, and scholars to study, discover and explore. The current revised website version is a step towards that.
One of the main objectives of KRSA is to hand over the Kirat Rai culture, traditions, language, costume, and identity to another generation. This website will play an essential role in fulfilling this task of the organization through various audio, visual, and reading materials about the Kirat Rai community. For that, we will keep this website active by posting different types of content.
This website will inform the government, the media, and the public about our distinctive culture and identity. In addition, we believe that this website will help us connect with minority immigrant community organizations, unite with them on immigration issues, and build political power for the establishment of immigrant rights.
We always want to stay connected with our members and community. We want to tell the organization’s members and the Kirat Rai community about us and to listen to them. This website will become such a forum. We always look forward to having creative advice and support on various vital issues, including these.
